On a recent trip to Japan, President Obama bowed to his counterpart, Emperor Akihito. This act of RESPECT is being met with hoots and howls from conservatives who feel that was the wrong thing to do. They are saying that by bowing, Obama is making America “look bad.” Where have these people been the last 8 years?
The reason America looks bad ALL OVER THE WORLD is because for DECADES we have gone around the world treating people however the FUCK we wanted to. Then when and if anyone complained, they were met with “yeah and” attitudes. We force people who come over to this country to speak English and then when we go to their country, we expect them to understand English. We have bombed, financially raped, bullied, cajoled, and threatened, countries into attacking Iraq and Afghanistan with a lie about “weapons of mass destruction” and found NOTHING! The world is not safer and instead of making friends, or at least have working relationships with countries different from ours, we have created millions of enemies. According to conservative pundit, William Kristol, a bow is making us look “weak and overly deferential?” A Bow!
Most people feel sorry for bullies. Because they already know that the reason bullies act the way they do is because they have low self esteem. And they need to push other people around to feel superior. Sounds EXACTLY how America is viewed by most of the world. Yet this act of KINDNESS and RESPECT is bad “for America?”

A breaking news story has just broken. Actor, and that is debatable, Charlie Sheen, is DEMANDING to meet with President Obama about the “cover up concerning 9/11.” Why I am writing on this, I DON’T KNOW! Maybe I’m getting tired of all of the attacks that are coming fast and furious in the 8 months that Barack has been in office. Or maybe it’s because a drug using, wife abusing, prostitute visiting BITCH like Sheen has a lot of nerve to DEMAND ANYTHING!
I don’t recall hearing “Good time Charlie” DEMANDING to meet with Bush during the 7 years immediately after 9/11 occurred. And that included the information that come out, DURING BUSH’S TERM, that there were no weapons of Mass Destruction which was the excuse to attack Iraq in the first place. Nor do I recall hearing him say anything about the BILLIONS of dollars that have been spent on the war. Again, done under BUSH’S TERM. Nor do I recall him saying anything about the millions of people who have lost their lives or limbs on both sides of this of this war. But he now has the AUDACITY to DEMAND to meet with Obama? What kind of SHIT is that?
Take a word of advice Chuck. Why don’t you go and pick up some alcohol, some drugs, and a hooker and have a good time. Because NO ONE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DEMANDING!!!!

I have watched with bemused disinterest all of the fussing, arguing, and fighting that has occurred at the Health Care town hall meetings. Because it is under the guise of “health care” that GROWN ADULTS are acting like children and literally getting into fist fights. But the real reason has nothing to do with the medical profession. It has to do with the hate that has come to the service since President Barack Obama was elected.
I find it interesting that most if not all of the people who attend these are WHITE and MIDDLE AGED! The same people who probably already have health care. For them, this is an more about yelling and screaming about “Obama” and less about how to make sure that everyone has access to proper medical care. My brother was recently in the hospital for two weeks and it seemed like almost EVERY DAY he was telling my mother and I about the shoddy treatment he was receiving. Oh did I mention that he is a former PSYCH NURSE and that my mother is a former R.N.? So you can well imagine that with other 50 years worth of knowledge between then, they KNOW EXACTLY what proper care medical care is supposed to look like?
For those people who have more than one brain cell, they should remember that health care is reform is not a new phenomenon. During the Clinton Administration, President Clinton attempted to reform health care along with the aid of his wife, Hillary Clinton. But there was such a backlash against then first lady and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, that eventually, it was shelved. Again, the subterfuge was not “health care” , it was to keep a “woman in her place.”

I read with humor the recent article that retold the events that occurred when President Obama invited select Lesbian and Gay activists to the White house. From all reports, attendees laughed and squealed with glee at everything that “Mr. Obama” said. Even his call for the Lesbian and Gay community to be “patient” was met with a nod. And while I understand that the economy is probably a bigger concern, forty years after the Stonewall Riots, haven’t we been patient enough?
On June 28, 1969, a Gay club in New York, the Stonewall Inn, was raided by the police, a common occurrence at that time. Often patrons were beaten before being thrown in the back of the paddy wagon. But on this occasions, the patrons decided enough was enough and fought back. This act led to a riot that went on for days. And this event is said to be one of the “flash points” of the Gay Civil Rights movement.
That event occurred forty years ago. And to me, the fact that we are still fighting this same fight is an injustice of untold proportions. We are still getting beaten up by the police, we are still being fired from jobs, we are still not allowed to be with our partners in hospitals, Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is still being on the books, DOMA is still on the books, the Hate crimes bill still is not a national law, and certain members of the public still think they should be able to use violence against us. And the violence part has become personal to me.
While answering some email, I was sent a link to a youtube video of a young kid, who was assaulted because she was seen hugging and kissing her girlfriend in public. I call her a young kid because I knew her when she was a kid. At twenty-five, she is a grown woman. The assault was so bad, that she needs to have reconstructive surgery. That some idiot felt it necessary to assault someone isn’t new. It happens all of the time. That Gay people are assaulted isn’t new either. That event OCCURS ALL THE TIME TOO! The FACT that I have known Rhythm and her family since the early 2000′s makes this personal to me.

Peta, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is upset with President Obama because he smacked and killed a fly who was buzzing around him during an on air interview. While I sometimes support things Peta stands for, in this case, Peta needs to sit down and SHUT THE FUCK UP!
I have done the EXACT same thing that Barack did on many occasions. I have caught and swatted flies out of the air with both my hand and with a fly swatter. And will continue to do so.
My feelings on all animals is this. If you are in MY HOUSE uninvited, you can best believe that I am going to get you. And that includes swatting, smacking, and stomping on you. And if your insect friends or family are watching, they better not come in here either! And because I feel that way, I rarely feel sorry for people chomped on my sharks, bears, or bitten by snakes, unless they are in my IMMEDIATE backyard. I have no problem sharing this earth with them. Because by all accounts, THEY WERE HERE FIRST!!!
I don’t see him having done anything wrong. I take that back. He should have talked more TRASH to the fly!
PETA, GET PASSED YOURSELVES! You have much more important this to worry about than the president swatting a fly that was somewhere he shouldn’t have been in the first place!

President Obama has decided to allow the partners of Lesblan and Gay federal employees the same benefits as their straight co-workers. WOW! That’s awful damn WHITE of him!
And not nearly good enough!
He has refused to step in and end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” He has refused to end, what he promised to do before the elections, DOMA – Defense of Marriage Act – which he as the ability to do. Yet he thinks this is supposed to placate us! No, not even close!
Lesbians and Gays supported Obama in large numbers and if he thinks he would have gotten elected without our MONEY, organizing skills, and support, I can guarantee you, he is sadly mistaken. While he certainly brought together a large and diverse coalition of people, we were at the forefront of this group. And we are growing tired of waiting on him to do what he promised to do.
I pay taxes, FEDERAL TAXES, and don’t appreciate my tax dollars being used to discriminate against me. If the Federal Government has laws on the books that make discrimination legal, why should we be surprised that states are doing the same thing?
Major props to Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine who are either already performing Same Couple Marriages, or are scheduled to begin in 2009 or 2010.
Hey california. How is the budget melt down working out for ya!!!! According to the prestigious Williams Institute, they estimate that the passage of Proposition 8 will cost the state more than $800 million in the next three years, due to a loss of revenue for weddings and various auxiliary services. Not to mention the “trickle down theory” that applies to more money in people’s hands.
I guess that old saying is right. Bigotry, Hate, and Racism affects EVERYONE! Not just the people it is aimed at!!!!

For the second time in less than two weeks, racist cartoons or emails have become public that came either from a national publication, The New York Post, and from elected officials, Dean Grose, mayor of Los Alamitos, california. That these two incidents have happened shouldn’t really be a surprise. Anyone who thought that just because an African American was elected, that CENTURIES of racism was over, is an IDIOT! One has nothing to do with the other. Racism isn’t going ANYWHERE until people talk honestly and openly about racism, And since most people would rather have Root Canal surgery than admit they have uttered racist statements, or harbor racist thoughts, this isn’t going away. Racism in America is the big Pink Elephant in the Room!
Dean Grouse sent out a mass email to business people in his community. In the email, pictured below,
it shows the Whitehouse with a watermelon patch in the front yard. The caption read, “I guess there won’t be an Easter Egg hunt this year!” How he thought this wasn’t racist is beyond me. That he would send something like this out in a mass email, not knowing who would get it, is even more unbelievable. From his picture,
he looks old enough to have seen or heard African Americans and watermelon spoken in negative connotations. For him to now say that he “didn’t mean to offend anyone” is a complete lie. What he didn’t mean to do was have this come out to the public! There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! This was no accident! It was a racist action from a racist, PERIOD! Those thoughts don’t happen in a vacuum. His inner thoughts and backroom comments finally came out in public. And his poor excuse of an apology doesn’t fly with me either.

President Elect Barack Obama, still sounds good doesn’t it, who isn’t even in office yet, is the victim of more Republican nastiness. I guess the Republican party is still smarting from the OLD SCHOOL ASS KICKING they took this last election. Not only did they lose the presidency, but their loss of both houses is also complete.
Chip Saltsman, who is running for the presidency of the Republican party, sent out a Christmas CD titled, “We Hate the USA” that has a song on it named “Barack the Magic Negro.” In the song, with music from the Peter, Paul, and Mary’s 1960′s hit, “Puff the Magic Dragon“, it states that Barack isn’t really “Black“, and that the only reason white people voted for him is because of the guilt they feel for how African Americans were and are treated in this country. (The War, the Economy, a crumbling financial structure that many Republicans helped create, maintain, and profit from, had nothing to do with it ). The song says that in comparison to Louis Farakkhan, Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg, Barack isn’t really Black or Black enough. As if the Republican party can ever say who is Black enough. They are claiming that the idea for the song came from a Los Angeles Times article so that gives them permisssion to create this nonsense.
The real reason the Republican party is trying to compare Barack to Farakkhan, Sharpton, and Snoop unfavorably, is because the later don’t inspire FEAR in the Republican Party’s HEARTS like Barack does. All Sharpton does is make speeches and run around looking for a camera to put his process in front of. And while I like Snoop, he is, and never will be the equal to Obama. Farakkhan’s influence is no longer what it was. What SCARES the Republican party the most is that Barack has come out of NO WHERE to become the President of the United States. He owes us damnit and I’m going to get what’s mine. Barack Obama has yet to be inaugurated into the office of the Presidency and he is already being bombarded with people saying that he “owes them” because of their support and they “plan on collecting.”
The special interest groups all are jockeying to be the first ones to “get theirs.” The Abortion rights people and the Catholic church are saying that even though they voted for Obama, it doesn’t mean they agree with his stand on abortion. The mayors of many cities are calling for Obama to send economic and work related aid to them. Black folks want him to “take care of us” and Hispanics want to make sure they “aren’t forgotten.” Women want prominent cabinet positions go to women. Lesbians and gays want him to stand up for our rights to marry and get equal treatment under the law. The young folks, those bright eyed and bushy tailed youngsters who for maybe the first time felt compelled to get involved in the political process, want to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Old people want to know that their retirement funds and pensions will be there when they need it. Homeowners want to save their homes. The unemployed want jobs. Business owners want to stay in business and be able to support their families. Unions want to know they still have a place in the new American economy. Other countries want to make sure that the “bomb first, ask questions later” policies of the previous administration is over. Have I left anyone out? I’m sure I have. Barack is being set up to fail.
Barack is coming into a job in a country whose economy is on the brink of a depression. Thousands of jobs are seemingly being lost every day. And it’s not just the mortgage industry that is losing jobs. DHL is planning on cutting over 9500 jobs in America. Sun Microsystems is planning on cutting 6000 jobs. Morgan Stanley is planning on cutting 10% of it’s work force. That would mean another 4400 jobs that will be lost. Yahoo announced that they will be cutting another 1500 jobs and that is in addition to the 1000 that were cut earlier this year. An economic report said there were over 127,000 jobs lost in the month of October alone. In a nation of over 305 billion people, 127,000 jobs doesn’t sound like a lot. But the job cutting has been going on for the last 15 months. And since the jobs are spread out over all industries, no one is being spared.
