If you are a basketball fan, Christmas was our day. there were FIVE GAMES on in one day. And for the most part, we were able to watch basketball from 9:00am until 9:30pm. And the only game that shouldn’t have been played being the Clippers against the Suns. The Clippers??? Who the hell wants to watch the Clippers? But I digress. the featured game of the day was the Los Angeles Lakers against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lebron against Kobe. Shaq back in Los Angeles. The two teams the league has been trying to wish into the finals. But it wasn’t the game that will be remembered by those who saw it. It is the fan revolt. Laker’s fans, used to getting BULLSHIT CALLS, especially at HOME, were mad because the refs let them play. And to show their displeasure, they threw the five-away foam fingers and some water bottles onto the floor . But what seems to have been missed in all of this is the FACT that the picture on the fingers is a GANG SIGN for Los Angeles!
I didn’t really look at the fingers as they were raining down from the stands. I was just GITTY that the Lakers were getting DEALT WITH, at HOME, on CHRISTMAS, for ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. It was a day later, after seeing the picture did I see the Gang Sign on the foam fingers. Here is a picture of the sign. The first picture is the original picture. The second picture turns to foam finger “right side up” so you can see EXACTLY what I am talking about. And here is the proof that this is an OLD SCHOOL gang sign for Los Angeles.

I don’t know if this was a new promotion or what. What I do know, after working with at-risk gang members for over 5 years, is what the different gang signs mean. And that includes gang signs that are local, statewide, or national. And the the picture on the foam fingers passed out to thousands of fans, was indeed a gang sign!
I’d love to know what the thought process was in deciding to try and pass off a gang sign in a Los Angeles Lakers game promotion. And I would love to know which person, who surely didn’t create the hand sign themselves, decided to promote the Lakers as a gang. Either way, the past can’t be changed. And the fact remains, the Lakers got DEALT WITH on Christmas and the Promotion that had a gang sign on it went terrible wrong!

If you have been paying attention to the news, you couldn’t help but hear about the teenage girl who was gang raped by upwards of 10 people while other people stood around filming this with their cellphones, laughing and cheering. Not only did these LOSERS either participate in the gang rape or watch it, but NO ONE alerted the authorities. This girl was gang raped, beaten, ROBBED, and left for dead. I’ve seen the affects of child molestation and/or rape when I worked at the Teen Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center. So I know that they NEVER get over what was done to them. And for that reason alone, EVERYONE involved should spent time in prison, INCLUDING those people who watched at did NOTHING! Having said that, and here is where you might disagree with me, the girl MUST take some of the blame for what happened to her!
When I first heard about this event, I was wondering what kind of ANIMAL would do something like this. What would make them think that what was happening was “cool.” The oldest person involved with this tragedy is 32yrs old and the youngest MALE is said to be 15yrs old. That these CREATURES who CAME FROM A WOMAN would stand by and watch as if this was some kind of movie, is unfathomable. I’d love to know what these SUBHUMANS are going to tell their mothers, aunts, sisters, and grandmothers, about the role they played in this event. I want to know how they would feel if it was their MAMA who was GANG RAPED, for over 2 HOURS, while people stood around watching. I wonder would this still be “cool?”
I’m aware of “group think.” And I know that standing apart from the crowd can be lonely. But at the end of the day, you have to look yourself in the mirror and be able to live with what you do. And if you are a religious person, you are going to have to explain your actions to your maker. And I’m sure, a few days after the fact, some of these boys wish they would have “stepped up” and did something. But that is a day late and a dollar short.

I read recently that a stranger walked up to a woman and her screaming child and told both of them, “shut that kid up or I will shut her up for you.” With that pronouncement, he proceeded to slap the two year old child across the face. According to the report, he hit her four or five times in succession. When I read the headline, I cracked up laughing. Because recently I have encountered some rude, noisy, touch everything and everyone, crumb snatchers, and have been incredulous that their parents seem oblivious as to what was going on. So I understand the man’s frustration at hearing a crying kid. But to put his hands on someone else’s child? AW HELL TO THE NAW!!!!!
My mother and I went to a local restaurant to eat. And there must have been a million kids acting fools and parent’s acting like their children didn’t belong to them. The were putting their nasty hands on everything and the manager had to tell a couple of people to control their kids or leave. As we were leaving, a kid cut in front of my mother. Mind you my mother walks with a cane. I called him a “little dumbass” and followed him with my eyes back to his seat. I saw him say something to his mother and point to me. At that point, I stopped walking, folded my arms over my chest, and starred at his mother. She proceeded to drop her head and continue eating. I continued out the door and left. If she would have even thought to “step stupid” with me, I would have beaten HER with HIM, and kept on going. I’m VERY PROTECTIVE of my mother and fucking with her is the fastest way to get hospitalized! So I do understand this man’s actions. I don’t agree with it but I understand it.
My last observation is this. This mother wasn’t Black or white. Because if she would have been Black, the story would have read “Black woman stomps the last breath out of white man for slapping her child!” I’m sure this loser picked someone who wouldn’t have hit him with the heaviest thing within arm’s reach like a Black mother would. Then she would have gotten on her cell phone and called the rest of the family who would have “mobbed in” and taken turns beating his ass. And the video of that would have been put on Youtube within the hour!
To be honest with you, If I had saw that, I might have stepped in and whupped his ass my damn self. You don’t mess with babies and old folks. I hope during his jail stay, someone returned the favor!

One of my first Blog posts was about a Christian College, Point Loma Nazarene University, in San Diego, CA , that was busted for hazing. These supposed “Christians” made the freshman were, “awakened at 2:00am and forced to walk to the beach and swim naked.” Some if not all of the students were “slapped” and some were “urinated upon.” I stated that it sounded like a sort of “gang initiation” but because the participants were “white” and at a “Christian college” that it was just considered hazing. I also stated that just because you are at or in a college atmosphere, it doesn’t mean you are better than anyone else. If just means that you were able to find a way to get there. Whether through your parents, grandparents or scholarships. It is now coming to light that a Black Sorority at the University of Colorado has shown that sort of behavior is not only STUPID, but it is COLOR BLIND TOO!
CSU’s Omicron Omicron chapter of Zeta Phi Beta, a national black sorority is said to have subjected pledges to “torturous” activities, deprived them of sleep, and made them eat “cat food.” One of the pledges felt so bad that she actually sought out medical attention! During something called the “seven hours of hell” held at Adesuwa Elaiho, sorority president’s apartment, recruits were forced to run, eat animal food and perform boot-camp like training. Another leader, Antoinette Hill, told the recruits if they were to “throw up we would have to lick the vomit off the floor. So they threw up inside their suits,” one victim said in her statement to police. This was after doing hours of calisthenics, eating ONIONS, and drinking KITTY MILK! They were made to support themselves on one arm and on their toes, in a “plank position” and count to 1920. That is the year the sorority came into being. Allegedly if anyone “dropped,” failed to count, or made a mistake, they all had to start over again. One recruits arms and shoulders were so swollen that she sought medical attention!
Bottom line is that the ring leaders should be charged with a crime and prosecuted. This is what is always said about Black women in power. That they will ABUSE THAT POWER or use it to keep other Black people, ESPECIALLY other Black women down. There is no excuse for this type of behavior. It’s “low class”, ” no class”, and TRIFLIN! This was nothing less than a gang initiation. Don’t try and sugar coat it. Don’t try and justify it. And don’t try and explain it. Gang initiation is not much different than what occurred here. And these SORRY BITCHES should be treated as gang leaders and sent to jail. Even if it is only for 6 months. Maybe they will then understand the magnitude of what they did!

As I said in a previous post, cops aren’t my favorite people. And it doesn’t matter if they are gay or straight, male or female, black or white. In my almost 28 years of driving, I have been harassed, followed, and jack up by the police more times than I care to remember. And I have heard cops laughing and giggling about how they “made someone’s day” by giving them a bogus ticket. Yeah, real funny. Like I said, most of them are GANG MEMBERS with BADGES! And before anyone comments by saying “then don’t call the cops when you need help if that is the way you feel about it.” Trust me, most African Americans only call the police as a LAST RESORT because we know they are going to give a HALF-ASSED EFFORT in helping us so WHAT’S THE USE!!!!!!! But this incident has my blood boiling.
Professional Football player Ryan Moats was stopped by a cop for running a red light turning into a hospital. When he was stopped, he informed the cop that his mother-in-law was DYING and that was the reason he ran the light. Ryan’s wife, whose mother was dying, tried to explain the situation but the cop, Mr. Robert Powell, didn’t seem to care. Fearing that she wasn’t going to be able to say her final goodbye to the woman who raised her, Tamishia Moats ran into the hospital. We are all lucky that this heartless cop didn’t shoot her in the back!!!
Living in california and being a woman, and having an incident where Kara Knott was killed by a CHP, we have been told to put our flashers on if we feel nervous about the area we are being requested to stop at by the police. We were told that putting the flashers on lets the cop know that we see them. Moats’ did just that. The dashboard camera, showed just how cowardly Mr. Powell was. The more Moats tried to explain the situation, the angrier the cop became. After a heated exchange, Powell said, “Shut your mouth! You can either settle down and cooperate or I can just take you to jail for running a red light.” Ryan was also told his car could be towed. That he could be put in handcuffs. Take someone to jail for running a red light!!! You have got to be kidding me!

When people send their children to private schools, whether it be an elementary, high school, or college, it is usually done to get a better education for that child. To socialize with a “higher class” of people. To make social contacts that lead to business contacts that can last a lifetime. So what does it mean when these EXACT same “private school” students act like kids from the “public school” system?
At a private, CHRISTIAN college, Point Loma Nazarene College, in San Diego county California, it has been revealed that a hazing gang initiation incident where students were “awakened at 2:00am and forced to walk to the beach and swim naked.” Some if not all of the students were “slapped” and some were “urinated upon.” That sounds like a “Gang Initiation“ to me.
Before anyone says it is an “over reaction” by using the term “gang”, let me give you my definition of gang. I define “gang” as “a group of people together for a common cause that require either ”initiation, deeds, or money, to join.” In this case, “upper classmen” gang leaders, make the “lower classman” (wanna be gang members) ”prove” themselves by doing whatever they are told to do. Certainly being forced to swim naked in the ocean at 2:00am and then having to walk back to the parking lot naked certainly has some sort of sexual overtones. Whether consciously or subconsciously. And urinated on them? Wow! That disgusting act goes without saying. I guess this was their version of the “jumping in” process known to occur at public schools. Their “process” even had a name, NOSing (Naked Ocean Swimming). These “initiations” can take the forms of being forced to drink a certain number of drinks, whether alcoholic or not, to being spanked or forced to perform sexual favors or acts.
